Dear Friends / JO Grads of 79,

I received some very sad news regarding a fellow grad ...  Fred Lowe passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021.

Fred faced a few health challenges,  but is now at peace. 

There will be no service at Fred's request.  

His close friends added ....

"Let's hope Fred has found Curtis, and they are catching up on their card games!" 

Our thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences are with Fred's family and friends at this sad time.

Just an extra note ...

I hope everyone is staying safe and keeping positive.  For some, just taking that small step each day to keep going, even when you feel like you just can't, is positive and uplifting!    

Right now, I really don't know what to say to everyone through these difficult COVID times.   Back in 1979, we had no idea (or conecpt) that our lives would be affected in this way.

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who is experiencing health issues, loss of family and friends or just feeling like they just need a hug to get through the day.   

As with everything in life, we have our own personalities and deal with things very differently.   We have feelings and can always use support in one way or another.  Take time in your day to remember a friend, then cherish that memory!   Certain songs, events, parties, concerts, skating, skiing, shopping or just hanging out fixing a car, these are the moments to treasure!  Who knows, they might even put a smile on your face and brighten your day!!   

I also understand some of you might have a negative school thought.   If so, please take a moment, breath and think of someone who did reach out  ...  cherish that memory!  <3

By sending this extra note, it helps me reconnect, brings a smile to my face and floods my heart with amazing childhood memories!!
